EPS (Expanded Poly Styrene)
Various wax fractions are widely used in EPS manufacturing. Synthetic waxes are used as nucleating agents to obtain a constant grain size. Other waxes are used to control processing properties such as flow.
- Low molecular weight , linear Poly-Ethylene waxes
- Fischer-Tropsch (FT) waxes
- Brominated Flame Retardant (replacement of HBCD)
