In cooperation with partners, Gabriel-Chemie developed a series of lightweight tubes made of safe packaging materials with perfect recycling performance.

Sustainable packaging has become a priority for all of us. Gabriel-Chemie Group, in collaboration with its partners, has developed a series of tubes that represent both the aspects of sustainability and aesthetics.

These lightweight tubes are designed to use less material while maintaining the same robustness of the tube. The use of mono material makes these tubes easy to recycle. The flip-top closures are partially Near-Infrared (NIR) detectable, making them ideal for easy waste separation. Finally, the laser marking technology guarantees an ink-free, durable and reliable labeling process and meets all the safety requirements of conventional labels without the need for lamination or adhesive.

Michael Heindl, Customer Projects Team Leader at Gabriel-Chemie Group adds, "When I first heard about the project, I was excited right away. All current topics such as weight reduction, mono materials, sustainability and much more could be realized in one tool. The Spectacle of Nature series shows that sustainability and fascinating color effects can be perfectly combined. Plastic can be the solution, not the problem. Thanks to all partners involved and my great team, Technical Department Customer Service."

Ulf Trabert, Business Development Manager at Gabriel-Chemie Group would also like to thank all cooperation partners for their prominent support, "it is shown once again that teamwork and bundling of know-how and enthusiasm leads to great success. Sustainability in plastics is our main task and inspiration for finding innovative packaging solutions, which we have realized in this tube series. In terms of color, packaging does not have to be just gray or white. These excellent colors stand for differentiation, individualization and valuable packaging.
