Advantages of the sustainable product Jagropol

These bio-based products come in different forms with regards to OH value, functionality, and reactivity. The range of OH value varies from 50 to 500 mg KOG/g and functionality from 2 to 5. Besides, the products consist of 100% of solids and zero VOC.

Jagropol has many advantages that could add significant value to your end products such as better water resistance, hydrolysis resistance, and heat resistance. However, it is very flexible to hard coatings and is a faster application for thickening coatings.     

Applications

Jagropol 114 and 115 are used in the following applications:

• Polyurethanes (PU) in coatings, adhesives, sealants, and elastomers. 
• PU based potting compounds for electrical and electronics materials, rigid and semi-rigid PU foams for insulation, cavity filling, and packaging.
• Flexible PU foams for mattresses, moulded foams, and automotive seatings
• Polyols for flooring systems
