Fischer Tropsch wax - Next Generation Wax

Waxes are widely used throughout the world for a lot of applications. Think about packaging, cosmetics, foods, inks and -obviously- candles.

Fischer-Tropsch wax is a synthetically produced chemical by the polymerization of carbon monoxide under high pressure. These compounds are extracted out by distillation process along with fuel products with melting points ranging between 45°C and 106°C. Key benefits including enhanced UV protection, low cost, easy to use and color retention capabilities are among the major factors driving FT wax market revenue.

Product Parameters

FT-105 (ACH FTW-105) and FT-115 (ACH FTW-115) are two FT waxes which can be used in applications for PVC processing as lubricants, hot melt adhesives, master batches, rubber industries, pigment & coating, and polishes. With its high melting point and low melting viscosity, this FT wax has hardness with excellent heat stability.

The main difference between our ACH FTW-105W and -115W is the fact that the -115W has a lower viscosity. Reason for that is because the Molecular Weight of the 115W is lower (about 800) compared to the 105W (1100). Furthermore, both wax types share similar product parameters.

Due to shortages, these times are challenging for sure. Nonetheless, together with our supplier DB international BV we are able to supply both wax types right now.
