Green chemistry labelling of Ddchem

Our partner Ddchem strives to meet the future market expectations through new product development focusing on greener chemistry with an eye on environmentally friendly and more safety solutions.

Salicylic acid free alternatives

Salicylic acid labelling has changed due to the worsening of product classification. For example, the product was suspected of damaging unborn children (H361d). Ddchem has developed Salicylic acid-free alternatives to have similar chemical and physical properties to avoid this from happening.

Application and benefits of salicylic acid free primers

The sustainable alternative is applicable in hardener for solvent-free systems, adhesion promoter in the concrete substrate, and as a hardener for flooring (primers). The material has a medium viscosity, is a phenol-free, and has modified polyamide/amine hardener for epoxy systems. Other benefits are:
  • Greater VOC-free content
  • Fast curing even at low temperature
  • Excellent auto-levelling and wetting properties
  • Great Shore D development even at low temperatures
  • Excellent adhesion on wet/moist concrete
  • Bright appearance of the layer

How can you apply this to your products?

You may be wondering how you can apply these salicylic acid-free alternatives to your products. Or perhaps how your products will keep the same quality while being sustainable? We recommend you to contact our specialist Shaimaa El Fayyoumy for more information!
