AGC Chemicals Europe, a subsidiary of AGC Inc., produces Fluon® PTFE and ETFE and sells other fluorinated products including Fluon® PFA and AFLAS® Fluoroelastomers. AGC's fluoropolymers range belongs to the "high performance" polymer triad because they offer a combination of properties that conventional and engineering polymers cannot. The product range offers unique properties and has a broad base of applications in the  transport industry, chemicals, electronics, household applications, architectural, offshore and industrial end markets.

On 15 June 2020, the EU published Regulation (EU) 2020/784, which amends current EU legislation restricting the use of persistent organic pollutants (POPs). The new regulation specifically restricts the use of perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA). During this webinar, we offer an insight into the occurrence and low presence of PFAS in the production of PTFE and look ahead to the adaptation of PTFE products in view of REACH legislation. What grades are available until when? Until when can I use my current PTFE grades? When are the new PTFE grades available?
